THE AMENDMENT PROCESS
The first step in the amendment process is the amendment is proposed.
Next there are two methods on dealing with the proposed amendment. First you can try to get three forth of congress to vote in approval of the amendment or you can call for a constitutional convention and work with the amendment to appeal to other congressmen and their agenda and then vote.
The final step is the amendment may be ratified if three fourths of the states approve of the amendment once it has gone all the way through congress.
